Emelie Westerberg has a diverse work experience in the financial services industry. Emelie started their career as a Debt Collector Agent at Klarna in 2010 and later moved on to become an Accounting Assistant within AP and AR. Emelie then joined KPMG as an Audit Associate, specializing in financial services, before transitioning to PwC Sweden as a Senior Audit Associate in 2016. In 2017, Emelie joined Hoist Finance as a Group Accountant and later took on the role of Regulatory Reporting Specialist, where they were responsible for various financial reporting and implementation of new regulations. In 2021, they became the Head of Accounting at Northmill, a neobank focused on improving financial life. Currently, Emelie holds the position of Head of Accounting at Avida Finans AB, where they oversee accounting and financial reporting for the company.
Emelie Westerberg's education history begins in 2010 when they attended Stockholm University for a journalistic grundutbildning course, which they completed in 2011. Emelie then proceeded to Uppsala University, where they pursued a BSc in Business and Economics, majoring in Företagsekonomi, from 2011 to 2014. In 2013, Emelie also spent a period studying as an exchange student at Singapore Management University, focusing on f\u00f6retagsekonomi.
