Faizan Sheikh

Faizan Sheikh is the CEO and co-founder of Avidbots. Faizan has over eight years of experience in the software industry, with a focus on design and development.

Sheikh previously worked as a software developer at Kinaxis, where they were part of the data server team. Faizan was responsible for the re-architecture and design work for the company's enterprise class high performance 1 TB in-memory, versioned, relational database server.

Before joining Kinaxis, Sheikh worked as a software designer at Amdocs (formerly Bridgewater Systems), where they designed and implemented various features for the Policy Controller (PCRF) in Java. Faizan also coded various call flows for Gx, Gy, and Sy protocols between the PCRF and OCS servers, and wrote JUnit and Continuous Integration tests that run on Jenkins.

Sheikh has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.

Faizan Sheikh attended the University of Waterloo where they received their Bachelors of Applied Science in Mechatronics Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Glenforest Secondary School.
