Rohit Sharma is a seasoned venture capitalist and technologist with extensive experience in leading and supporting innovative companies. Currently serving as a Partner at True Ventures since September 2012, Rohit also acts as a Venture Partner for True Founders. Previous leadership roles include serving as President & CEO of Syfto, where Rohit developed a machine-learning driven recommendation engine, and as Seed Investor and President & CEO at Vdopia Inc. Rohit's career includes positions at MDV as a Principal focusing on IT investments, founding MetaMachinix to advance desktop virtualization, and holding leadership roles at ONI Systems/Ciena in metro networking products. Rohit began their professional journey as a Research Scientist at TRLabs, and possesses advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering and a D.Sc. (Hon) in Engineering.
