Josiah Herzog

Josiah Herzog has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Josiah started their career in 2009 as an Instructor at Mad Science Group Inc. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Research Assistant at Santa Cruz Biotechnology. In 2013, they joined Brandeis University as a PhD Graduate Student, where they remained until 2018. In 2019, they joined Vertex Pharmaceuticals as a Research Scientist, where they worked until August 2021. From August 2021 to January 2023, Josiah worked at Kate Therapeutics as a Research Scientist II. Currently, since January 2023, they serve as a Senior Scientist at Avidity Biosciences, Inc. Additionally, Josiah is also a CPT, 71A Microbiologist in the United States Army Reserve since January 2021.

Josiah Herzog holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Josiah then pursued further education and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from Brandeis University.
