Madilyne Malone

Madilyne Malone has an extensive work experience in medical writing and research spanning over 16 years. Madilyne worked as a Director of Medical Writing for Avidity Biosciences and Pfizer starting in 2023 and 2022, respectively. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Director, Senior Manager, and Senior Medical and Scientific Writer for Arena Pharmaceuticals from 2018 to 2021. Madilyne also worked as a Senior Manager of Document Quality for Orexigen Therapeutics in 2016-2018 and as a Clinical Consultant for myoscience in 2015-2016. Additionally, they served as Manager of Clinical Resources for NuVasive from 2010 to 2015, contributing to post-market studies of orthopedic spine devices and writing peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. Lastly, they worked as a Senior Research Associate for NNI Research Foundation in 2009 and as a Research Director for the International Spinal Development & Research Foundation from 2005 to 2009.

Madilyne Malone earned their B.S in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University in the period between 2001 and 2005. Prior to that, they attended IMSA for some length of time and later enrolled in UC San Diego for an unspecified time frame.
