Sara R-Vaziri

Sara R-Vaziri has a diverse work experience in the field of biosciences and research. Sara is currently employed as a Clinical Scientist at Avidity Biosciences, Inc., starting in 2023. Prior to this, Sara worked at Tenaya Therapeutics as a Translational Scientist II from April 2021 to March 2023, and as a Consultant from July 2020 to April 2021. Sara also gained valuable experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford University from July 2018 to April 2021. Sara's academic journey includes being a PhD Student in the Department of Molecular, Cellular & Integrative Physiology at the University of California, Los Angeles, from October 2012 to December 2017.

Sara R-Vaziri earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Cellular Integrative Physiology from UCLA, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. Additionally, in 2021, they attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business to complete the Stanford Ignite Program in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
