Juan Andres Blaha

Juan Andres Blaha has had a long and varied career in the telecommunications and aviation industries. Juan Andres began their career in 1982 as a Sales and Support Representative for Airtech. In 1984, they were a Helicopteros Flamingo and Aviex Aerospace for Helicopteros Flamingo and Aviex Aerospace. In 1985, they became the General Manager/Owner for Aviex Aerospace/Helicopteros Flamingo. In 1999, they were the Vice President and General Manager for Latin America at Savvis Communications, where they were responsible for closing all legacy POPs in Latin America and replacing service reach via strategic carrier relationships. From 2003 to 2015, they were the Director Sales and BD Andinean area, Country Manager Venezuela for Brasil Telecom, GlobeNet, and Oi, where they were responsible for the start-up of the Venezuelan country branch operation of GlobeNet and the development of strategic partnerships and interconnection agreements. Finally, from 2017 to the present, they have been the Director of Operations Latin America and Latam for Avidyne.

Juan Andres Blaha has a background in finance and engineering. Juan Andres completed a Business Administration for Engineers and Technicians degree at IESA in 1982. Additionally, they completed two years of Mechanical Engineering at Liceo Simon Bolivar.
