John Nolan is a legal professional with extensive experience in the aviation and finance sectors. Currently serving as Legal Counsel at AviLease since October 2025, John previously held the position of Director & Associate Counsel at Carlyle Aviation Partners from December 2022 to October 2025, as well as Associate Counsel at the same company. Prior to this role, John worked in Transaction Legal at Dubai Aerospace Enterprise from September 2018 to December 2022 and in International Asset Finance at Mason Hayes & Curran from May 2017 to August 2018. John’s academic background includes a Master of Laws in International & European Business Law from Trinity College Dublin, a Law & Economics degree from the University of Limerick, and completed the Solicitors Qualifying Exams from the Law Society of England and Wales, along with the Final Examination - First Part from the Law Society of Ireland.
