Diego Carrasco Álvarez

Diego Carrasco Álvarez serves as the CEO and founder of J&E DIFORSA since February 2014. In addition to this role, Diego is a HEMS nurse at Avincis since December 2021 and has been a Clinical Advisor in Tropical Diseases at Teckel Medical since February 2016. Previous experience includes working as a nurse at SAMU Asturias (2019-2021), IPC Coordinator for Médicos del Mundo during a project in Sierra Leone (March 2016), and as a Transitional Phase Health Coordinator on a DFID project. Other notable positions include nursing roles at the "Gómez Ulla" Military Hospital and the Ebola Treatment Center in Sierra Leone. Diego also served as the TCCC National Coordinator for Prehospital Emergency Care Spain from 2009 to 2015. Educationally, Diego obtained a Master's degree in Emergency Care & Disasters from Universidad de León and a Nursing degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
