Fernando Sancho Jiménez

Fernando Sancho Jiménez is an experienced aviation professional with a strong background in helicopter operations. Currently serving as an H145 MP/IR/NVG First Officer for The Helicopter Company and Saudi Red Crescent Authority since July 2022, Fernando previously held various roles at Avincis from December 2009, including Helicopter Pilot, EFB Administrator, and CAT Flight Standards Area Manager. Responsibilities encompassed leading technical developments, managing operational documentation, and ensuring compliance with Spanish CAA regulations. With extensive experience as a Senior First Officer for HEMS operations on EC145 and Bell 412 helicopters, expertise spans both day and night IFR operations. Fernando's educational qualifications include an ATPL(H) and CPL(H) from Centro Andaluz de Enseñanzas Aeronauticas, as well as degrees in Telecommunications Engineering and Sound Engineering. Prior to pursuing aviation, Fernando worked as a Sound Engineer, Arranger, Music Producer, and Musician from 2000 to 2009.
