Phil Hood

Phil Hood currently serves as the Managing Director for the Nordics at Avincis, starting in January 2024, following a brief period of semi-retirement. Prior to this role, Phil was the Head of South East Australia at Cobham Aviation Services from September 2020 to May 2023 and also held the position of Head of Operations SE Australia at National Jet Express simultaneously. With extensive experience at Emirates from September 2012 to August 2020, Phil managed operations, safety, security, staffing, and finance at Adelaide Airport. Phil's career at Qantas spanned over three decades, where positions included Manager Customer Service Delivery for QantasLink, Airport Manager overseeing operations in multiple international locations, and various roles in load control and customer service. Earlier experience includes working as a Retail Sales Specialist in a hardware company and being a licensed builder, having commenced a career in the trades as an apprentice carpenter and joiner.
