Peter Beattie

Peter Beattie has extensive work experience in engineering and technology leadership roles. Peter is currently the Director of Product & Innovation at AVIRE, where they lead a diverse team in developing and delivering market-leading products within the emergency communications sector. Prior to this, they were the Global Director of Engineering & Technology at Ultra Electronics Group, overseeing a team of engineers across multiple sites and managing a portfolio of support services. Peter also held various roles at MBDA and BAE Systems, where they led teams and implemented innovative solutions in the defense industry. Overall, Peter Beattie has a track record of driving growth, leading teams, and delivering results in complex technical environments.

Peter Beattie completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Warwick from 2007 to 2010. Peter later pursued a Master of Philosophy degree in Innovation, Strategy, and Organization from the University of Cambridge, which they completed from 2016 to 2017. In 2021, Peter Beattie began their Executive Master of Business Administration program with a concentration in Finance at Cranfield University, which will be completed in 2023. Peter also obtained additional certifications, including Chartered Engineer from the Engineering Council in 2023 and Chartered Mathematician from the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications in 2017. Peter Beattie is currently enrolled in an Executive Education program focused on leadership at Duke University, which began in 2022 and will finish in 2023.
