Shelly Block

Shelly Block serves as the Vice President of Global Talent & Culture at AVIRE since October 2022. Previously, Shelly held the position of Chief People Officer at PlayMonster from March 2020 to May 2022, where strategic global human resources planning and collaboration with leadership on mission and goals were key responsibilities. Prior experience includes the role of Vice President of HR and Organizational Development at Pioneer Metal Finishing from March 2013 to March 2020, focusing on global HR functions, and Director of Organizational Development & HR at Plan Administrators, Inc. from January 2010 to April 2012, where transformation initiatives significantly improved employee engagement. Shelly's earlier background features a position as Director of People Development at Caribou Coffee Company from October 2007 to December 2009, overseeing talent management and development initiatives. Shelly Block holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Development from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & International Business.
