James O'Brien

James O'Brien is an experienced sales leader with a strong background in business development and account management. Currently serving as the Director of Commercial Sales for the Central Region at Avis Budget Group since August 2013, James oversees a team of four Account Managers and is responsible for driving new business acquisition in the New England market. With a proven track record of securing enterprise accounts with significant annual revenues, James specializes in leveraging connected car technology to enhance service levels and generate cost savings. Prior to Avis Budget Group, James held various roles in sales and territory management at RJ Reynolds, Cyber Communications, and Newpro, consistently ranking in the top performance tiers across all positions. James holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut.
