Paul Wheelton AM KSJ is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and community service. Currently serving on the Victorian Selection Panel for the 2024 Australian of the Year Awards and as a director and secretary for the Order of Australia Association Foundation, Paul is dedicated to supporting young Australians through scholarships and mentoring. As the Capital Campaign Chair for Guide Dogs Victoria, Paul oversees a significant development project, while also actively participating as an Australia Day Ambassador and holding directorships with the Bali Children Foundation and the Life Education Foundation. A long-term chairman of the Wheelton Group of Companies and Budget Rent a Car, Paul's career spans several decades, underpinned by a strong academic background from prestigious institutions, including the University of Melbourne.
