Jeff Emery

Jeff Emery is an accomplished leader in the medical device industry, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of R&D and Operations at Avisi Technologies since November 2021. Previously, Jeff held leadership roles at Fountain Life and Fountain Therapeutics, BioCardia, and Benvenue Medical, where significant contributions included pioneering novel spinal implants and leading numerous product launches from initial human trials to full commercialization. Noteworthy accomplishments at Intuity Medical involved the invention of a compact blood sampling system and managing interdisciplinary projects for prototype development. Jeff's career commenced at Exponent, where expertise in medical device engineering and tissue biomechanics was applied to consulting services. Holding a PhD in Bioengineering from UC San Diego and a B.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University, Jeff possesses a robust academic foundation complemented by numerous patents and publications.
