Matthieu Pourbaix

Matthieu Pourbaix is a seasoned data science and actuarial professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as Data Science Manager at AVISIA since June 2018, Matthieu manages customer analytics in the telecommunications sector, trains data science teams, and leads projects involving predictions and clustering, as well as credit scoring and analytical data warehouse development in banking and insurance. Prior roles include Head of Underwriting and Deputy Head of Valuation at AXA en France, as well as ALM Manager and Executive Assistant to the CFO at Axa Life Japan. Matthieu's career began at AXA en France, where significant contributions were made in profitability, pricing, and reserving actuarial functions. Matthieu holds a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Finance from CentraleSupélec, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Economics and is a Fellow of the French Actuarial Institute.
