Mark Nicholson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the financial industry. Mark is currently the Senior Vice President Client Experience, Marketing & Communications at Aviso Wealth, where they lead a team dedicated to empowering investors and helping Canadians improve their financial well-being. Prior to this role, Mark served as the Vice President of Client Experience at Aviso and worked towards enhancing the financial well-being of all Canadians. Mark also held the position of Vice President Customer Experience at Wyth Financial, where they played a crucial role in creating and delivering innovative banking solutions for customers. Before joining Aviso and Wyth Financial, Mark held various leadership positions at Tangerine and ING DIRECT, where they focused on digital innovation, client experience, and marketing strategies. Throughout their career, Mark has demonstrated a strong commitment to delivering customer-centric solutions and shaping the future of banking.

Mark Nicholson completed a Design Thinking Bootcamp at Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2015. In 2012, they earned a Digital Marketing mini-MBA from Rutgers University, specializing in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia. Their undergraduate studies were at Brock University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing between 1997 and 2001. Additionally, Mark also holds several certifications including Partners, Directors and Senior Officers Course (PDO) from the Canadian Securities Institute, and has obtained certifications as a Section4 Certified Storytelling, Section4 Certified Innovation Strategist, and Section4 Certified Strategist from Section4 in 2022.
