Thomas C. Aguer

Tom Aguer joined Avison Young in July 2014 as Principal and Managing Director of the Sacramento office. With three decades of commercial real estate experience, Aguer has successfully completed more than 8 MSF of class A office lease and investment sales transactions. Specializing in servicing new and existing clients, coordinating local recruiting programs, and managing the day-to-day operations in the office, Aguer will oversee the rapid growth and development of Avison Young's presence in the Sacramento region. Working with companies such as CBRE, Brown Stevens Elmore & Sparre, and KCS Development Company, Aguer has continually promoted both start and completion in office and retail projects. As well as founding Aguer & Associates in 1992, his office projects at 2485 and 2495 Natomas Park Drive received the Business Owners and Managers Association award for Top Office Building of the Year for North America in 1991.

He also has served as a director with many local charitable organizations including The Rotary Club of Sacramento, Junior Achievement, Big Brothers, Sacramento Food Bank, and Sacramento St. Vincent de Paul Society, among others.
