Rich Murphy

Rich Murphy, CCIM, currently serves as Senior Vice President at Avison Young since February 2020, specializing in investment sales of Single-Tenant NNN Properties within the Capital Markets Group. Prior experience includes a decade as Managing Director at Calkain Companies, where Rich provided asset management and brokerage services with a focus on 1031 exchanges. Earlier roles encompassed positions at Westpark Real Estate Advisors, Akridge Real Estate Services, and The Mills Corporation, where contributions ranged from asset management to financial reporting. Rich began a career at Ernst & Young, LLP as a Tax Consultant, serving various real estate clients. Military service includes a position as Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. Rich holds a Master's in Real Estate Finance from Georgetown University and multiple degrees in accounting, finance, and engineering from various institutions.
