Stephan Heinen

Stephan has more than 27 years of experience in the real estate industry. His activities focused on financing (real estate leasing), project development and transaction business. The focus here was on the asset classes office and residential.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Stephan was Managing Director at BEMA Development GmbH, responsible for acquisition and transaction of project development. Prior to joining BEMA, Stephan headed the Düsseldorf office of KGAL Investment Management GmbH. During this time, he acquired various office properties for the various fund vehicles of KGAL and was responsible for acquisition processes from the acquisition to the conclusion of the transactions. Previously, he worked for 19 years for Commerz Real AG, a subsidiary of Commerzbank AG. During this time Stephan has structured leasing transactions and carried out acquisitions and transactions for all fund vehicles of Commerz Real AG.

Stephan has been Managing Director of Avison Young - Germany GmbH since March 2015.
