Dan Kolbet

Dan Kolbet is an experienced professional with a comprehensive background in employee experience, human resources, and communications within the energy sector. Currently serving as the Employee Experience Program Manager at Avista since May 2007, Dan oversees initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction. Previous roles include Manager of COVID-19 Response, where Dan provided strategic leadership for health policies, and Senior Human Resources Manager, managing HR functions across multiple business units. Dan also brings experience from Spokane Transit Authority as a Communications Specialist and from positions at People to People Student Travel and The Spokesman-Review. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism & History from Gonzaga University, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a PHR certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute.
