Kelly Small

Kelly Small, RHIT, CCS has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Kelly started their career in 1992 as an HIM Supervisor at Wooster Community Hospital and held this position until 2009. Kelly then worked at Avita Health System as an HIM Coordinator from December 2011 to April 2013. Following this, they joined Pomerene Hospital in May 2013 as an HIM and Registration Supervisor, where they stayed until October 2018. Currently, Kelly is serving as the Director of Health Information Services at Avita Health System, a position they have held since October 2018.

Kelly Small, RHIT, CCS has an Associate's degree and an AAS in Health Information/Medical Records Technology/Technician from Alfred State College - SUNY College of Technology. They have also obtained certifications as a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) and Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) from AHIMA. The year of obtaining the CCS certification is 2021.
