Elizabeth Kirshner

Elizabeth Kirshner has over 25 years of experience in the clinical research field. Elizabeth most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Global Clinical Research at AVITA Medical, beginning in April 2022. Prior to that, they held positions at AVITA Medical as the VP of Clinical Research and Director of Clinical Research. Elizabeth also has experience as a Clinical Project Manager at AVITA Medical. Before joining AVITA Medical, Elizabeth worked as a Clinical Project Manager at Merck from 2009 to 2011. Elizabeth also held roles at Schering-Plough Research Institute, Organon, PharmaNet Inc., Bristol-Myers Squibb, Consolidated Laboratory Services, Medical Specialists, and Parkland Hospital.

Elizabeth Kirshner obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in the years 1989 to 1993. Elizabeth then pursued Medical Technology at the University of Texas at Tyler from 1993 to 1994. Elizabeth also holds certifications as a Medical Device Professional (MDP) from the ACRP - Association of Clinical Research Professionals (obtained in 2022), a Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) from the ACRP (obtained in 2002), and is a member and certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (obtained in 1994). Elizabeth Kirshner's education and certifications are in the field of biomedical science and clinical research.
