Vitaly B.

Vitaly B. is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as Head of Engineering at AVIV Group since August 2023, focused on building a data platform and promoting decentralized data ownership. Previously, Vitaly held the position of Senior Engineering Manager at Trade Republic, where a Foundations group of five engineering teams was established, and core data services were developed for the brokerage platform. Prior roles include Engineering Manager at Amadeus, where a data platform for processing large volumes of data was created, and a similar position at Klarna, where platform services were developed, and a new team was established in Berlin. Vitaly's early career includes pivotal roles at Careem, SAP, Columba Online Identity Management AG, BMW Group, GP Inspect GmbH, and Dornier MedTech, showcasing a strong background in software development, team leadership, and project management. Vitaly holds a Master’s degree in Computer Software Engineering from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.
