Sophia Plotkin

Sophia Plotkin, ACSW, is a dedicated therapist currently working at Aviva Family and Children's Services since October 2023. Previous experience includes serving as a Clinical Social Work Intern at Family Service of Santa Monica- Vista del Mar from August 2022 to May 2023, and at Venice Community Housing Corporation from August 2021 to May 2022. Earlier in the career, Sophia held multiple roles at Seneca Family of Agencies, including Program Supervisor for Immediate Stabilization Services and Connections Specialist from August 2019 to September 2021, and Family Support Counselor from June 2018 to June 2019. Sophia also has experience as a Writing Center Tutor and Student Administrative Assistant at Sonoma State University from February 2017 to June 2018, and as a Classroom Assistant at New Traditions Elementary School during the 2014-2015 academic year. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Social Welfare from UCLA (2021-2023) and a Bachelor's in Sociology from Sonoma State University (2014-2018).
