Declan Whiteford

Declan Whiteford is a seasoned actuarial professional with extensive experience in the insurance and financial services sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Manager, Actuary at Aviva since October 2021, Declan previously held the position of Director, Actuary at Prudential Financial, focusing on Model Risk Management and Enterprise Risk Management from December 2017 to September 2021. Earlier roles include Associate Actuary at Milliman from September 2015 to November 2017. Declan holds a BSc in Actuarial Science & Risk Management from Queen's University Belfast and an MSc in Risk Management & Financial Regulation from the same institution. Currently, Declan is pursuing an Executive MBA at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
