John Chapman is an experienced actuary with a diverse background in finance, analysis, and military service. They served as a Warfare Officer in the Royal Navy from 2003 to 2005, followed by an analyst role at Dstl until 2008. John has held various actuarial positions at Aviva between 2017 and 2019, where they managed UK Annuities Reporting and led significant reporting projects, including IFRS17 and Balance Sheet Analysis. Prior to that, they worked at PwC from 2012 to 2017 in Pensions and Investment Consulting. John earned a Master of Mathematics and a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics from Durham University, and they are currently pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science at Acted.
