Brice Journot

Brice Journot has extensive experience in product development and engineering roles. Brice is currently working as the Principal Product Development Engineer at Avivomed, Inc. since September 2022.

Prior to their current position, Brice worked at Envoy Medical Corporation as a Principal Engineer from July 2021 to August 2022, and as a Senior Mechanical Engineer from January 2017 to July 2021.

Before joining Envoy Medical Corporation, Brice served as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Medtronic from January 2014 to January 2017.

Brice also worked as an Engineer Medical Product Design at Katecho, Inc. for a brief period from May 2013 to September 2013. In this role, they were responsible for designing and developing medical device products and building and testing prototypes.

Brice gained experience as an Engineer Medical Product Development at St. Jude Medical from July 2012 to May 2013.

Their earlier work experiences include serving as an Engineer Biotech Development Support at The University of Iowa Health Care Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation from December 2009 to August 2012, and as a Software Developer at Bio::Neos, Inc. from June 2010 to August 2011.

Brice began their career as a Technical Writing Communication Consultant at Hanson Center for Technical Communication from October 2008 to December 2009.

Brice Journot previously attended the University of Iowa, where they earned a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from 2011 to 2012. Before that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from 2007 to 2009 at the same university.
