Richard Baker

Richard is driven by a commitment to delivering desirable, functional and affordable homes. Happily it is one he shares with AVJennings. Little wonder then that 30 of his 32 years as a designer has been with the Company.

He arrived in 1988 as a junior designer and rose through the ranks. He has been Chief Draftsman, Product Development & Planning Manager NSW, State Design Manager NSW, and in 2016, was appointed National Design Manager.

While he is passionate about housing design and performance, his primary focus is to optimise the synergy between dwelling and land to create communities that are liveable, desirable and connected.
