Luke Spenst

Luke Spenst is an experienced engineering and sales professional with a strong background in technical support and project guidance within the power generation sector. Having served in various roles at AVK-SEG since February 2019, including Head of Engineering for the Standby Division and Head of Sales Engineering, Luke specializes in providing technical expertise for diesel and gas generators across Europe, primarily focusing on the UK and Ireland. Prior to this, Luke accumulated extensive experience at Cummins Inc. from August 2008 to February 2019 as an Application Engineer, where responsibilities included offering pre-sales and after-sales technical support, delivering training, and collaborating closely with engineering departments. Luke holds a Higher National Certificate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Greenwich and a National Diploma from South Kent College. Additionally, initial work experience involved a role at Sainsbury’s as a butcher and fishmonger.
