Akshay Hegde

Akshay Hegde is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as an Expert Development Engineer at AVL Software and Functions GmbH since September 2017. Previously, Akshay held the position of Development Engineer and completed a Master's thesis at Robert Bosch GmbH in 2017, focusing on the design and implementation of a Sparse Matrix Vector Multiplication engine for deep neural networks. Prior experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Ltd., specializing in embedded software development within the automotive sector, and developing software for Functional Safety in accordance with ISO-26262 standards. Akshay holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a specialization in Embedded Systems from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering.
