Diego Valero Bertrand

Diego Valero Bertrand has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Diego started their career in 2000 as a Development Engineer at INEIN - Investigación e Ingeniería S.A. In 2001, they joined Continental Automotive Systems as a Development Engineer and eventually became a Team Leader/Project Manager. Diego'sresponsibilities at Continental Automotive Systems lasted until 2009.

In 2009, Diego joined AVL Software and Functions GmbH as a Senior Engineer/Project Manager. Diego quickly progressed to become the Head of Product Center Diesel Controls until 2019. From 2019 onwards, Diego held the role of Head of Product Segment Combustion Controls. Then in May 2021, they took on the position of Head of Product Segment Test Engineering.

Throughout their career, Diego Valero Bertrand has gained expertise in various roles and demonstrated leadership abilities in managing projects and teams.

Diego Valero Bertrand completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Industrial Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) from 1993 to 1999. Diego then pursued an end-of-studies project in Polymer Rheology Research at Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan in the year 2000.
