Felix Elrod

Felix Elrod is an experienced ADAS System Developer and Project Manager currently working at AVL Software and Functions GmbH since June 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing automated driving research projects and managing ADAS/AD perception development. Prior to this role, Felix served as a Hardware Development Engineer at Koenig & Bauer Banknote Solutions from June 2011 to May 2017, focusing on hardware development using VHDL, PCB design, and setting up hardware-in-the-loop environments with MATLAB. Felix holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from Paderborn University, earned from 2005 to 2011, and began education as an Elektroinstallateur at Elektro Fastabend in Bielefeld from 2002 to 2005.
