Guilherme Castelo

Guilherme Castelo has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Guilherme is currently working at Avlino as a Quality Assurance Manager, where they lead a team of software quality assurance professionals. Prior to this role, Guilherme held positions such as Senior Software Development Engineer in Test and Software Quality Assurance Team Lead at Avlino.

Before joining Avlino, Guilherme worked at Natixis in Portugal as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, where they assisted corporate and institutional customers with financial services. Guilherme also worked as a Consultant IT at Altran, where they provided IT consulting services.

Guilherme has also gained experience at various other companies, including Celfocus, PRIMEIT CONSULTING, GlassesGroupGlobal, LabOrders/PetriDish Software Lda., Grupo APS, and Epixware - Eletrónica, Unipessoal Lda. In these roles, they worked on automated software testing, web development, and computer technician tasks.

Guilherme Castelo's education history is as follows:

From 2013 to 2015, Guilherme attended the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, specializing in Graphic Systems and Multimedia.

Prior to that, from 2009 to 2013, they also studied at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto and completed their undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering.

Before entering higher education, from 2005 to 2008, Guilherme attended Colégio de Gaia and completed a Technological Course in Information Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Guilherme has obtained several certifications. In July 2020, they received a certificate of participation in the DSPT Day Online from Data Science Portugal. Guilherme also holds certifications in French (A1 level) from Altran, the ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level from iSQI GmbH, and a certificate of completion for both their master's degree and undergraduate degree from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto. Furthermore, Guilherme has a driving license for Category 1 - B/B1 vehicles, obtained in October 2009 from IMTT-Porto.
