Katie Leahy

Katie Leahy has been working in a variety of roles since 2012. In 2012, they worked as a Logistics Specialist for FRCMA Voyage Repair Team and as a Supervised Research for the University of Virginia, Department of Environmental Sciences. In 2013, they worked as a Laboratory Supervisor/Senior Analyst for Metropolitan Solutions, where they oversaw daily lab operations for a VELAP accredited, fast paced environmental laboratory. From 2015 to 2020, they worked for Tecnico Corporation, where they held the roles of Contract Administrator and Management Trainee. In their role as Contract Administrator, they managed the financials on ship repair contracts and provided quotations and negotiated prices for all emergent and growth work. As Management Trainee, they completed eight department rotations, had monthly debrief meetings with the CEO/President and VP of Operations, and gained exposure to company operations and key personnel. Most recently, in 2020, they began working as Business Director and Contract Manager for AVMAC LLC.

Katie Leahy has an education history that includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Old Dominion University, which they completed in 2020. Katie obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia in 2012. In 2011, they attended the University of New South Wales (UNSW).
