Vanessa Onacilla

Vanessa Onacilla, MHCM, serves as the Director of Provider Operations at AvMed since December 2012, with a strong background in provider management and contracting. Previous roles at AvMed include Manager of Provider Network Operations, Manager of Provider Contracting, and Senior Contractor Negotiator, where Vanessa has demonstrated expertise in managing complex provider relationships and navigating the intricacies of healthcare contracts and claims. Prior to AvMed, Vanessa held the position of Manager of Provider Contracting at Baptist Health South Florida and worked as a Lead Insurance Analyst at Mercy Hospital. Vanessa holds a Master's degree in Healthcare Management from American InterContinental University and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration from Florida International University.
