Shayan Guha

Shayan Guha is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and startup advisory roles. As a Co-Founder of Avocado since July 2020 and a Technical Advisor to various seed stage startups since February 2018, Shayan provides vital technical guidance to emerging companies. Prior to these roles, Shayan served as Principal Software Engineer at TriNet from February 2016 to March 2020, where contributions included integrating the Teleborder platform and developing innovative tools for sales agents. Shayan's career also includes positions as Principal Engineer at Teleborder, Founding Principal Engineer at Coliloquy, and Senior Software Engineer at Glyde Corporation. Shayan's technical foundation was built as a Software Engineer at Green Hills Software, with early experiences as a Software Engineering Intern at Microsoft and Amazon.com. Shayan holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, complemented by participation in Y Combinator and General Assembly courses.
