Theodore Hanson has worked in the technology field since 2010. Theodore began as a Software Engineering Intern at Comtech EF Data in 2010, and returned to the same company in 2011 and 2012 as a Software Engineer Intern and Software Engineering Intern respectively. In 2013, they joined Moovweb as a DevOps Engineer and Mobile Web Developer, where they worked on/developed m.gnc.com and m. In 2015, they were promoted to Senior Platform Engineer, where they developed a Ruby Slack Bot for quick analysis of infrastructure, designed and developed an AWS Lambda architecture in Node.js, assisted in designing architecture of high availability infrastructure for a new product in AWS, maintained and updated a SSL Certificate manager's APIs, maintained and updated scripts to build production code for customers, refactored and versionized Node.js modules used in the SDK and Platform, maintained and reviewed code changes for a custom proxy in Golang, and designed and updated protocol for custom reverse proxy in Node. In 2017, they joined Avochato Inc. as a Founding Engineer.

Theodore Hanson attended Bellarmine College Preparatory from 2006 to 2009. Theodore then attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2009 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Theodore also holds a Puppet Fundamentals Certification from Puppet Labs, Inc.
