Gayani Jayabahu

Gayani Jayabahu has a diverse work experience in the field of Quality Assurance. Gayani is currently working as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Avonet Technologies since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Dialog Axiata PLC as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer from January 2022 to November 2022 and as a Quality Assurance Engineer from December 2020 to December 2021. Before joining Dialog Axiata PLC, Gayani worked at Wabtec Corporation as a Quality Assurance Engineer from May 2020 to November 2020 and as a Quality Assurance Engineer Specialist from August 2018 to May 2020. Gayani began their career as a Software QA Intern at Mitra Innovation from January 2017 to November 2017.

Gayani Jayabahu began their education in 2012 at Infortec International, where they obtained a Higher Diploma in Computer Science with a focus on Information Technology in 2013. Gayani then went on to the University of Moratuwa, where they completed their Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Management with Honors from 2014 to 2018. After completing their undergraduate degree, Gayani pursued further education at SLIIT and obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology in 2022. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science in Information Technology at SLIIT, which they started in 2020.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Gayani has obtained several certifications. Gayani is a certified Scrum Ambassadors Licensed Trainer from Scrum Ambassadors, attained in July 2021. Gayani also holds a Certificate of Completion in GitLab from Udemy, acquired in April 2021. Gayani has completed the CERTIFICATE OF SOFTWARE TEST AUTOMATION program offered by the Imperial College of Information Technology and Business in December 2022. Furthermore, they have a Certificate of Performance/Load Testing with Jmeter from Learnfly Academy, although the specific date of completion is not provided.
