John Brandt

John Brandt has extensive experience in the chemical industry, currently serving as a School Board Member for AVONWORTH SD since December 2015. At Covestro, Brandt has held multiple leadership roles since May 2008, including Technical Manager for Adhesives and Sealants, Head of Application Development for customer support, and Head of Business Development for UV and Wood Coatings. Prior positions at Bayer MaterialScience included Director of R&D, Key Account Management for Functional Films, and Vice President of Marketing for the EMEA region. Brandt's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Polymer Chemistry and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University, along with a teaching certificate from the University of Pittsburgh.
