Kent Holland

Kent Holland is a seasoned professional in public relations and communications with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently, Kent serves as a Partner at Avoq, which was formed in 2024 following the merger of Subject Matter and Kivvit in 2023. Prior to this, Kent has been the Managing Director at Kivvit since 2013, contributing to the company's prominence until it became Subject Matter+Kivvit and was rebranded as Avoq. Kent's earlier career includes being a Partner at Plesser Holland Associates from 1995 to 2012 and holding the position of Assistant Director of Publicity at One Day University, which began as Carol Publishing Group. Kent's career in public relations started at Random House, Inc., where impactful work was done on bestselling books. Kent holds a BA in English from the University of Iowa.
