Tom Chalmers

Tom Chalmers has extensive experience in design, development, and operations in the hospitality industry. Tom is currently the Chief Operating Officer at AvroKO since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Design & Brand Advisor at Birch from May 2018 to the present. Tom has also held various positions at Sonder Inc., AvroKO, edyn, Gensler, The Standard Hotels, Grimshaw, and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM), demonstrating their versatility and expertise in the field.

Tom Chalmers completed a Foundation degree in Design and Applied Arts at the University of the Arts London/Leeds College of Art from 1998 to 1999. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Interior Architecture and Design at Nottingham Trent University, which they completed from 1999 to 2003.
