Ryan Des Cotes

Ryan Des Cotes has been working in the field of product development since 2019, when they joined AVSS - Aerial Vehicle Safety Solutions Inc. as Head of Product Development and Integration Engineering. In 2018, they co-founded Win-Win Homesharing, a company that connects elders with students in exchange for light chores. Ryan won 1st place for their business idea and pitch at the Techstars Startup Weekend Ottawa 2018 competition. Prior to this, they were an Advisor at MEC\u2122 from 2015.

Ryan Des Cotes attended Carleton University from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in Aerospace Engineering. In 2019, they received a certification from Coursera in the course 'Build a Modern Computer from First Principles: From Nand to Tetris (Project-Centered Course)'.
