Rais Mohamed

Rais Mohamed is a seasoned professional in the field of cybersecurity and network security, currently serving as the Lead Solutions Architect for Data Centre Security Design at AVTEL since March 2024. Rais has a strong educational background with a Master’s degree in Network Security from Heriot-Watt University and a BTech in Electronics and Instrumentation from Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology. Previous roles include Design/Estimation Engineer at REDA Hazard Control, where Rais evaluated and designed security systems, and Design & Estimation Engineer at ENERGY HORIZON TRADING ESTABLISHMENT, where site assessments and technical proposals were developed. Rais also has experience as a Cyber Security Analyst, conducting security audits to align with NIST CSF standards, and as a Network Security Engineer at Technical Factory for Fiberglass Products, focusing on deploying various security measures to protect IT infrastructure.
