Robin Hobbensiefken has a diverse background in software and automation engineering. They started their career in 1994 as a Software Engineer/Technical Support Rep at J.L. McKay/First USA Paymentech. They then worked as a Software Engineer at Mastering Computers, where they developed the KnowledgeTRACK Technology Based Training engine and the ActiveX menu control for navigation.

In 1997, Robin joined Supertracks.com Inc as a Software Engineer, where they developed components using C++, COM/ATL, Visual Basic, and XML. They also designed and completed a logging component and wrapped it in a COM/ATL project.

From 2001 to 2002, Robin worked as a Senior Software Engineer at InsureConnection.com, transitioning the website from an external development house to an internal development team. They quickly learned ASP and SQL for site design and modified VB components for performance improvement and added functionality.

Robin then joined Electroglas Inc in 2002 as an Applications Development Engineer, where they developed a C++ COM/ATL application for converting wafer map files into different formats. They also designed and implemented a hierarchical class structure for storing Electroglas proprietary data.

In 2003, Robin worked at The Corvallis Clinic as an Applications Development Engineer, designing and developing electronic data entry forms and a VB6 UI for the Ophthalmology department.

From 2004 to 2006, Robin worked at Sunstone Circuits as a Senior Software Engineer. They collaborated with various departments to improve plant efficiency, designed an ASP.NET based corporate website, and developed internal applications to enhance efficiency and data integrity.

From 2006 to 2008, Robin worked at Software Technology Group as a Software/Automation Engineer. They developed a C# ASP.NET web application for an RV dealership service department management system, which included custom controls, Crystal Reports, a business logic tier, and a MySQL database.

From 2008 to 2010, Robin worked at Aurora Industrial Automation as the Vice President. They worked with new Rockwell Software technologies, developed web applications, implemented system changes, improved efficiency, and fixed existing bugs for an automated door manufacturing line.

Since 2010, Robin has been working at Avum, Inc as an Application Engineer, working on various projects, including a VB.NET based web application.

Throughout their career, Robin has shown expertise in various programming languages and has demonstrated their ability to design and develop web applications, improve efficiency, and solve technical challenges.

Robin Hobbensiefken attended Portland State University from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering. Prior to that, Robin attended Stayton Union High from 1985 to 1989, but no degree or field of study was specified for this period. In terms of additional certifications, Robin obtained the CIW Web Security Associate certification from CIW in December 2013, as well as the CIW Network Technology Associate certification from CIW in August 2013. They also obtained the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA in July 2012, along with the CompTIA Security ce certification, also from CompTIA, in the same month and year.
