Bie Ekblad

Bie Ekblad, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, and patent law. Currently serving as an Associate in Patent at AWA since October 2022, Bie previously held roles as Purchasing Manager and Product Formulation Specialist at SERO AS from March 2018 to September 2022, focusing on raw material planning and product development. Academic expertise was developed as a Researcher and PhD student at the University of Oslo from 2012 to 2018, where Bie also taught biochemistry and molecular biology courses. Additional experience includes positions as Coordinator for the BioStruct national graduate school, Coordinator and Research Technician at Forskningsparken AS, and a variety of roles in public engagement and research administration. Bie holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in related fields from the University of Oslo.
