Matthew Wagener

Matthew Wagener has a diverse work experience in the finance and accounting field. Matthew is currently serving as the Director of Finance Operations at NewAmsterdam Pharma since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at PwC Nederland from April 2021 to June 2023, where they held the position of Deals Senior Manager in the Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services department.

Before joining PwC Nederland, Matthew had a long tenure at PwC, starting in 2015. Matthew held multiple roles during their time at PwC, including Deals Manager in the Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services department from July 2020 to April 2021, CMAAS Senior Associate from April 2017 to June 2020, and Assurance Associate from August 2015 to April 2017.

Matthew began their career as an Assurance Intern at PwC in 2014. Overall, they have gained extensive experience in finance operations, capital markets, accounting advisory services, and assurance.

Matthew Wagener completed their education from 2011 to 2015, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Accounting and Finance from the University of Central Florida. In October 2020, they also obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder certification from the CFA Institute. Additionally, Matthew has pursued a certification in Artificial Intelligence: Machine Learning from PwC, although the specific month and year of completion are unknown.
