Calvin 🦙 Sedao

Calvin Sedao is an experienced entrepreneur and technology expert, currently serving as Co-founder and CEO of Awana, where a vision to connect startups in the United States with high-quality tech talent in Latin America has led to the successful placement of approximately six roles per month and the growth of a community of over 200 developers. As a Board Member of Represented Foundation, Calvin has played a key role in developing an inclusive action plan to enhance diversity in entrepreneurship and has successfully launched two cohorts for the VER program. Previously, positions included Visiting Lecturer at Baruch College, Software Engineer and Technical Career Coach at Flatiron School, and various roles in business development and e-commerce. Calvin's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Washington.
