Ignacio Millán García

Ignacio Millán García has worked in various roles since 2011. From 2011 to 2012, they were the Coordinator of the FiBEST Carrer Fair for the Board of European Students of Technology. In 2012, they were the Coordinator of the EBEC Eng. Competition National Final for the same organization. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a DevOps Engineer for Telefonica R&D. From 2016 to 2017, they were the Head of DevOps Team and a DevOps Engineer for BQ. Finally, from 2017 to 2019, they were the Lead DevOps Architect for BBVA, where they were in charge of designing and developing cloud infrastructure and pipelines. Ignacio also worked with Docker and Kubernetes, monitoring, logs management and alerting, CI/CD/CS, service mesh, infrastructure as code, events, data and ML pipelines, DApps and private blockchains, serverless, backend development, Unix sysadmin, and database admin.

Ignacio Millán García completed their Telecommunications Engineering degree from Universidad de Valladolid between 2008 and 2014. Ignacio also completed an exchange year in Telecommunications Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2011 to 2012. In 2015, they obtained the Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) certification from the University of Cambridge. In 2018, they obtained the CKA - Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification from The Linux Foundation.
